The concept of the Infiniti Gallery of Design consists of two primary spatial elements: the Floating Ovals and the Undulating Ribbon. Expressing the concept of “Dynamic Adeyaka,” the signature color of the floating wall is the constant visual element framing the space with calligraphic gestures.
The Floating Ovals are suspended canopies hovering above the ovoid platforms varying sizes which evoke randomly placed lily pads floating around the pond and act as individual mise-en-scènes for the featured products. The Undulating Ribbon embodies fluidity and effortless motion. These combined spatial elements create an overall sense of undulating movement with additional sensory experiences of sound and projected images to complete the exhibition experience.
Medoff partnered with Hearst to create a design exhibition exploring the impact of modern luxury. Over 750K people visited The House of Infiniti at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, leading to a three-fold increase in advertising.
